Hahndorf 30/6/12

After a very cold night we went to farmers market in Mount Pleasant.Great market with seriously good food and coffee.
Then off to Birdwood  and a visit to Motor Museum ,a must for any motoring enthusiast.

A walk through Hahndorf and now parked in park overlooking town.

Barossa Valley 29/6/12

Bloody cold and windy here but just spent day touring Seppelts winery,Gnadenfrei Estate (some fine reds)
And topped of the day with a visit to Maggie Beers Farm Shop where we watched a cooking demonstration and had a bowl of hearty minestrone.

Tonight we are camping in Mount Pleasant and tomorrow off to Birdwood Museum.

Julia Bay /Yorke Peninsula 27/6/12

Yes we are still here but there is so much to see here.The crumbling stone cottages everywhere,the barley and wheat fields just shooting showing huge fields of green helped by the days of rain and now at last sunshine again.
Have spent nights on clifftops,beside jettys,in a truck marshalling area,and last night in a council run park with  a few others at $6 a night with good toilets bbq and fresh water.Met the other campers around campfire last night until cold crept in and sent us back to our cosy nest.

Val has just cooked brekky and smells amazing so I had better finish this and join her.

Point Rickaby 23/6/12

Still on Yorke Peninsula.Went through Moonta an old Cornish village dating back to the copper mining in the 1800s .Looked up the phone book to see if any Trevorrows were listed,only one living in the Aboriginal settlement,my parents told me we were English!

Wallaroo 22/6/12

Its finally stopped raining but still cold.
Spent a wild windy night on beach at Point Lowly just north of Whyalla.
Had small accident with awning (we hit veranda post and it fell on to footpath,but thanks to Graham Juetts brother,Ken we had it fixed in no time and had a few in the  pub on the next corner!

Port Lincoln 20/6/12

Here we are sitting in a carpark overlooking bay (which we can hardly see because its bucketing down)
Spent last night in farmstay just south of Streaky Bay,great spot with spectacular beach(see photo).
Night before Baird Bay and drove to Sceale Bay and visited Sealion colony at Point Labatt.

Heading North to somewhere. Hows the outback Dunny and it flushes!

Ceduna 18/6/12

Yes we have once again crossed the treeless plain.Spent another night in Eucla and stopped in again at Head of Bight to find 10 or so Whales there,they were grouped together rolling around possibly calving.

Spent last night at Shelly Beach /Ceduna.Cold nights now but warm days.Neil and Cath headed off this morning on their different trek home.We are having chicken sambos overlooking water in Ceduna,lifes good.

Eucla 16/6/12

We had a great night out in Kalgoorlie and look at what Val gave me for my birthday.
I found the best thing for a hangover,drink lots of beer and wine the night before!

Spent another night at Fraser Range Park,great campfire.And back to Eucla tonight.

The museum has a new photographic display of historic Kal and Boulder.Saw superpit again.
Going out tonight for Greggs birthday and pub crawl home (thanks to designated driver Kath)

Off to Norsman tomorrow and then maybe Fraser Range Station

Kalgoorlie again 13/6/12

Well we survived Bali and the 2 weddings and staying on the beach in Legian ,all very hard to take.
Caught up with family and friends and searched out some great restaurants/bars and saw some great live shows and terrific live bands,surfed,scootered,walked,shopped,and the week went very fast.
Spent last night at Wave Rock and experienced quite a storm.

2 nights in Kalgoorlie and off again.
