Tractor museum in Kingston. This is one of many sheds and all the tractors work !

Got a job driving the school bus

The blue lake in Mt Gambier certainly is blue.Last time we were here it was grey
apparently it changes colour in November for some reason.
The lake beside it is brown and never changes colour ?

Nuriootpa via Burra 27/12/14

A couple more shots of Beltana Homestead an extremely friendly stay
and the most hospitable place we have stayed at.Xmas lunch lounging
around the pool was fantastic

There was plenty for all
and still lots left over.
We will certainly be back on our
next trip.
We scootered to old Beltana township
whihc was a bustling town in
its heyday of the telegraph line
construction and the trans
continental railway and then the
discvery of copper nearby
The population was in the thousands
but only a handfull today.
Xmas dinner by the pool

Old Beltana township not much remains of the original town

Lunch on the way to Nuriootpa.Wineries here we come.

Ceduna 10/12/14

Luckily we are going the other way.
After crossing the Nullabor this little town cashes in on weary travellers sick of being overcharged for fuel and supplies .
Gave up the last of our fruit and veg and booked into Park in Ceduna, right on the water opposite a jetty and next to a pub, perfect.
Val ready for the Nullabor races. Also helped stop the swooping bird pecking her head !

The jetty to nowhere. We caught quite a few blue swimmers here but most undersize but some big enough for the pot
Maybe photo to follow

Bunda Cliffs must be one of the most photographed places on the Nullabor

Fowlers Bay great spot but very windy, note the huge sand dunes behind the town

Bremer Bay December 2014

Found a great camp just out of Bremer Bay calle Tozers Bush Camp .Surrounded by 700 acres of native bush and a fantastic camp kitchen / lounge /beer garden. Recently built by Robert with help from others it makes your stay very comfortable.
Plenty of wood for the outside and inside wood heaters (we used them all as it was quite chilly at night ) Rob supplied us with a bucketload of mallee roots.

The camp kitchen had everything

Bi fold windows opened the room to outside

The toilets and showers were great

Val trying to catch a fish in Bremer Bay.
Mind you we did catch a few and even kept 2 (cannot show photos for legal reasons )
